New Drug For AIDS

According to researcher at "The Lancet" they published a issue on Friday, they say that a drug, known as Rilpivirine can help control the HIV when it is combined with other drugs, it can't cure HIV/AIDS yet, but it can greatly suppress the HIV infection.

This drug which is produced by Tibotec which is very famous pharmaceutical company and drug is marketed under the name of Edurant. Tibotec says that this drug is safe and effective, and it has very less side effects when it is compared with Efavirenz, which is presently used to suppress the HIV infection. In May 2011 this drug was approved by FDA ( United States Food and Drug Administration ). From 1981 to present the HIV/AIDS has taken almost thirty million lives so far, this drug Rilpivirine can be a new mile stone in fight against HIV/AIDS.
