easily be replaced with something else.
1. Alcohol
The
age-long belief you should drink some on once the hangover strikes is not
applicable in this particular situation, or any situation for that matter; moreover,
this seemingly useful trick does not work at all. It can provide a temporary
relief from you misery, sure. However, in reality, it does not do much apart
from staving off the inevitable. You’ll still get hangover – just a little bit
later. Not to mention, this not-so-nifty trick can also contribute to your
chances of getting addicted to the booze and can very well turn you into an alcoholic
very fast.
2. Energy Drinks

probably won’t be a very successful attempt. Of course, the reaction of your
body might trick you into thinking it worked, although the effect is both
deceiving and short-lived.
3. Coffee
Just like
energy drinks, coffee will not do you much good. It can alert you for a short
period of time by triggering the production of certain chemicals. Alas, it can
also significantly worsen your state by contributing to your headache.
Sure,
burning a couple of calories is nice and overall beneficial for both your
health and appearance. Unfortunately, it won’t do anything for your hangover.
See, your anatomy burns the alcohol in about an hour; therefore, there is no
use in trying to “get rid of it” in the morning after the night of puking your
guts out.
